After a few days, the bandages or surgical bra will be substituted by a soft support bra. You must wear this bra approximately the clock for three to four weeks. The doctor will remove stitches after a week or two.
You have to apply a moisturizer several times a day if your breast skin is very dry after the surgery. You shouldn’t tug at your skin in the process, and have to keep the moisturizer away from the stitch areas.

Your New Look

Your surgeon will do everything possible to make your scars such unnoticeable as possible. But it's very important for you to remember that mastopexy scars are wide and constant. They can stay knobby and red for some months, but then step by step your scars will become less noticeable. Sometimes scars can fade to thin white lines. Luckily for you that the scars are as a rule placed so that you can wear even low-cut tops.

You must also remember that your breasts, after the surgery, will be in such form forever. Don’t forget about such effects as: gravity, pregnancy, aging, and weight variations which will finally take their toll again. But if you have implants along with the breast lift surgery you can find the results last longer.

You can be more satisfied with your breast lift if you understand the whole peculiarities of the procedure and if your hopes are logical.
